Getting the offensive line together has been an area of focus for the FSU Seminoles in the 2028 recruiting cycle. TJ Brandon out of Douglas County High School is one of the prospects they like the most, and they extended him an offer back in January.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder took an unofficial visit to Tallahassee back in March, marking his first time on campus. According to Kolby Crawford of Noles247, Brandon will return for FSU's season opener against the New Mexico State Aggies. He'll also be on campus when the Seminoles take on the Central Arkansas Bears on Sept. 26, and again on Oct. 31 for a Halloween matchup with the Clemson Tigers.
Brandon isn't ranked by 247Sports at the moment. However, Rivals industry rankings have him as the nation's No. 666 overall player, the No. 39 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 70 prospect in the state of Georgia. He's listed as a three-star recruit as well.
When Brandon came to visit Florida State in the spring, he got to spend significant time with offensive line coach Herb Hand. Since then, their bond has only gotten stronger. In fact, it's a huge reason why FSU is the program that's setting the pace in his recruitment.
"Florida State is the school standing out most to me right now," Brandon said.
With three visits locked in over the next two months, the Seminoles can create a lot of distance between themselves and the other contenders for Brandon, especially if they're winning games as well.
Four-star George Selvie III out of Florida, four-star Grayson Williams out of North Carolina, four-star Tyrie Davis-Winn out of Pennsylvania, and four-star Quinston Howard out of Florida are some of the other elite talent that Florida State is after on the offensive line in 2028.
