According to news agency PTI, police said they had not received any formal complaint or information regarding assault or other offences during the "Education Save, Country Save" dialogue organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Jodhpur DCP (East) Manish Kumar Chaudhary said the CJP programme was underway at the Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan when some people attempted to enter the premises by jumping over the boundary wall.

The DCP said some people were detained and added that further action would be taken if a formal complaint or information about an assault was received. Police detained around 11 people for questioning following the altercation, officials said.

According to eyewitnesses, some activists associated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) allegedly entered the premises by scaling the boundary wall and moved towards the programme venue while raising slogans, including "Jai Shri Ram".

The development led to a tense situation, with police personnel deployed at the venue intervening to prevent the groups from confronting each other. The CJP programme's co-convener and spokesperson, Ashutosh Ranka, attended the event and interacted with participants on education and youth issues.

Officials said police personnel remained at the site and removed the protesting youths from the premises to prevent further escalation. Police also increased security in the area following the confrontation.

After the incident at the Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan, organisers said police did not grant permission to CJP for another proposed student dialogue at Shastri Circle Garden.
