"We're tough. We don't shut down," Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said. "They (players) give me everything they possibly can every single night. At times we're youthful and we play with energy, and it shows up late in games. That to me is a sign of maturity."
Lovullo said his team is "engaged, they care and they're fighting," citing the experience the younger players are gaining by being part of the comebacks.
Tuesday's win gave way to a relaxed Diamondbacks clubhouse on Wednesday morning, which Lovullo was glad to see.

Gabriel Moreno gets day off
There had been no taking catcher Gabriel Moreno out of the Diamondbacks' lineup for 19 straight games, but that streak came to an end on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Moreno's .303 batting average and .382 on-base percentage led all MLB catchers with a minimum of 90 games played going into Wednesday. When not catching, Moreno's been deployed at DH to keep his hot bat in the lineup.
James McCann started at catcher and Nolan Arenado served as Wednesday's DH.
"I've been hunting for a day for him," Lovullo said of Moreno. "I've asked a lot of him this year. He's barely had any days off. Every time he's off he's DH-ing and it's been working really, really well for him. But we've got a busy weekend and I'm going to ask a lot of him this weekend, four games in three days."
