Leon Schuster has made a comeback on social media with a video showing his support for the Springboks amid their Greatest Rivalry series against the All Blacks.
The comedian and actor was recently awarded the National Arts and Culture Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

It comes after the 75-year-old suffered a series of health setbacks in recent years that have limited his mobility and left him with chronic pain. He has also spoken out about living with depression and loneliness.
Schuster is known for his pranks and comedic films, including You Must Be Joking, Oh Schucks, I’m Gatvol, and Mr Bones, among many others.
LEON SCHUSTER RETURNS TO SOCIAL MEDIA
Over the weekend, Leon Schuster returned to his social media platforms with a video of him supporting the Springboks amid their Greatest Rivalry series.
The comedic actor posted a video of himself performing a spoof of the South African haka, in reference to the All Blacks’ traditional ceremonial war cry.
He captioned the video: “Die Bok Haka. Your country is behind you”
The video quickly went viral with many South Africans happy to see the veteran entertainer back in action after a series of physical and mental health challenges.
BACKING THE BOKS
In June, Leon Schuster released a Springbok-themed anthem called Miljoene Hande vir Rassie.
The Rugby World Cup song is dedicated to Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus.
Schuster is also behind the rugby anthems, Hier Kom Die Bokke and Bokmasjien.
