Hello and welcome to Deadline Day, everybody. We are down to the final hours of what has turned out to be a very eventful last few weeks of the window for Giovanni Carnevali and the new-look Juventus front office.

But now, we’ve finally made it. The Serie A summer transfer window closes at:

  • 8 p.m. in Italy and Europe
  • 7 p.m. in the United Kingdom
  • 2 p.m. Eastern Time
  • 11 a.m. Pacific Time

Start the countdown clocks now because it’s almost time for Juventus’ roster to be locked in until the new year arrives. For some, that is good news because the last few weeks have been a little tiresome to say the least. Others will see the roster and take it as it probably is — one that can probably compete for the top four and not much more than that.

We know Juventus have a few moves set to be announced on this day. Midfielder Pape Matar Sarr is set to arrive on loan with option to buy from Tottenham Hotspur. Forward Nick Woltemade is also set to arrive on loan from a Premier League side, although his move from Newcastle is a dry loan and nothing more than that (for now).

There could be more based on any surprising Deadline Day exits, namely Juan Cabal and his rumored move to Atalanta that could go through before the window closes. But, for now, those are the only two incoming transfers that we definitely know are going to happen.

So sit back. Have a chat. And hopefully it’s a relatively drama-free day for Juventus and the moves they have lined up become official without much issue. You know, everything you hope for on Deadline Day.
