Jabir Parker, 24, was arrested on Tuesday and is facing charges related to two break-ins and the attempted break-in of a third home in the Philadelphia area this summer, according to NBC10.
The first two break-ins, per the report, were successful. Parker allegedly broke into a home on June 22 and stole roughly $107,000 worth of jewelry. A few weeks later, Parker allegedly stole more than $687,000 worth of jewelry from a second home.

The third attempt, on July 18, was the one at Barkley's home. While officials did not name the owners of the home involved, NBC10 reported that it is owned by Barkley and his family.
"In the third burglary, the … homeowners were awakened by suspicious sounds before finding an unknown male inside the home and calling 911," the district attorney said.
Barkley told NBC10 that nobody inside the home was hurt. He has since taken up extra security.
Parker is facing multiple felonies, including burglary and conspiracy to burglary. He is still in custody as of Wednesday afternoon, and is due in court on Sept. 10.
Barkley is just the latest NFL player to be the victim of a home burglary recently. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had more than $300,000 worth of luxury bags stolen from his Texas home during training camp. Both Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Tennessee titans lineman Jeffery Simmons had their homes broken into during the 2025 season, and seven individuals were charged in February for allegedly burglarizing the homes of Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, among others.
Barkley ran for 1,140 yards and had nine total touchdowns last season, his second with the Eagles after helping them to their Super Bowl win the year before. The Eagles will open the season against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 13.
