There were fireworks of the metaphorical kind in New Jersey on Thursday night when Rutgers suffered a 37-21 loss to UMass -- the Minutemen snapped a 16-game win streak and took down a team favored by 29.5 points. Just wild.

But then? There were actual fireworks that went off. Rutgers had a postgame show planned that went on even after the massive upset, and it was just so sad. At least that's what fans said on X (formerly Twitter), turning a mostly empty stadium with fireworks into a meme.
