Due to inclement weather in the Durham, North Carolina area, Saturday's Week 1 matchup between Duke and Tulane was delayed from 3:30 p.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Duke is coming off a crazy late-season run that ended with beating Virginia in the ACC Championship Game last December. It was a win for the Blue Devils that caused some shakeup in the 12-team College Football Playoff field.
The Blue Devils lost quarterback Darrian Mensah to the transfer portal in the offseason, and did so in a well-documented fashion. Mensah would end up transferring to Miami, one year after transferring to the Blue Devils from Tulane.
Duke was picked to finish 10th in the ACC preseason poll.
