Florida State football and SMU open conference play on Monday night with a Labor Day matchup from Doak Campbell Stadium, the first-ever meeting between the schools in Tallahassee.

For the second year in a row, the ACC will require schools to release availability reports before kickoff for all in-conference matchups. Below is the finalized report, updated from Sunday, with DL Darryll Desir and freshman wide receiver Tae’Shaun Gelsey listed as out. Safety KJ Kirkland is also listed as out, dealing a blow to FSU’s defensive back depth.
On SMU’s side, safeties Ahmaad Moses (recently granted a fifth year of eligibility) and Jaden Milliner-Jones are both listed as out. The Mustangs’ only player listed as questionable on Sunday, WR Daylon Singleton, was off the injury report on Monday evening.
Neither team had any players listed as game-time decisions.
