Gauteng

Cloudy and cool conditions will persist across Gauteng, with isolated showers and rain possible during the day.

Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga will start the day with patches of morning fog along the escarpment. Cloudy skies and cool to cold conditions will follow, with isolated showers and rain expected.

Limpopo

Morning fog will develop along the escarpment before giving way to cloudy and cool conditions. Residents can expect isolated showers and rain during the day.

North West

Cloudy and cool weather will dominate the morning before conditions gradually improve in the afternoon. Isolated showers and rain remain possible over the eastern parts of the province.

Free State

The Free State will see cloudy to partly cloudy conditions, with isolated showers and rain across most areas. The western parts should remain mostly dry, while morning fog could develop over the east.

KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal can expect partly cloudy conditions, with isolated showers and rain possible in parts of the province. Temperatures will range from cool to warm.

Northern Cape

Partly cloudy and windy conditions will affect the Northern Cape, with temperatures ranging from cool to warm. The western parts will turn hot, while morning fog could develop along the coast.

Western Cape

The Western Cape will enjoy fine and warm to hot conditions under mostly sunny skies. The province will also experience a very high UVB sunburn index, so residents should take extra care when spending time outdoors.

Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape will enjoy another pleasant spring day. Fine and warm conditions will dominate the western half, while morning fog could develop in the east before clearing. The northern interior will remain cooler.

Rainfall outlook

The weather service puts the chance of rain at 30% across parts of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, the eastern Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. Most of the rest of the country should remain dry.
