The 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials will be held June 9-17 at the home of the Indianapolis Colts.
The 2024 Trials drew more than 285,000 fans with the first such event in an NFL stadium smashing attendance records.
"As a host city, Indianapolis has exceeded our expectations, with the most tickets we’ve ever sold for an event," Tim Hinchey III, CEO of USA Swimming, said after the '24 Trials. "This overwhelming support is a testament to the growing popularity of the top Olympic sport and a promising sign for its growth."
The local organizing committee will include Ashleigh Newbold, Indiana Sports Cop vice president of engagement; Luke Hynoven, Sports Corp vice president of events; Scott Davison, chairman, president and CEO of One America Financial; Erica Watkins, master brand experiential marketing senior director at Eli Lilly and Co.; and Mike Dilts, executive chairman of Shiel Sexton.
