The Yankees and Dodgers joined the Rays and Brewers in the postseason field with road wins Monday night.

The Yankees clinched a playoff berth for the third season in a row and ninth time in 10 years with an 8-3 win over the Twins at Target Field.

The Yanks trailed 2-1 before a six-run eighth inning capped by a three-run homer from Aaron Judge, his first since returning from the injured list last week. Judge had missed 84 games with a fractured rib

The Dodgers’ postseason streak is up to record-tying 14 seasons after they wrapped up a berth with a 4-1 win over the Reds that was highlighted by Tarik Skubal pitching seven scoreless innings. The Braves also qualified for 14 consecutive postseasons from 1991-2005

The AL Central-leading White Sox beat the second-place Guardians 7-3 in Cleveland to stretch their lead to 1 ½ games. Chicago, which has been in first place since July 4, also clinched the season series and tiebreaker.

The Padres beat the Rockies 8-7 in Denver to extend their winning streak to eight games, but their lead for the last NL wild card stayed at 2.5 games when the Diamondbacks rallied past the Marlins 8-7 on a two-run, walk-off homer by Corbin Carroll in the ninth inning.
