Notre Dame Fighting Irish cornerback Leonard Moore is a semifinalist for the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy.

The trophy is "presented annually to the football bowl subdivision player who best combines exemplary community service with leadership and performance on and off the field."

It's named for Danny Wuerffel, who long-time fans will remember was the national championship winning quarterback for the Florida Gators in 1996. Players from FBS teams nationwide are eligible.
