Juventus have plans to bolster their squad in the January transfer window, and one of the players they currently have on their radar is Noni Madueke.
The Arsenal star has struggled for game time since the start of this season, as Bukayo Saka has been in terrific form. That has limited Madueke’s opportunities, leaving him likely to feature only when Saka needs a rest or is unavailable.
Last season, Saka missed several games, giving Madueke opportunities to play an important role for Arsenal. The attacker contributed as the Gunners competed in the league and other competitions, showing that he can make an impact when given regular opportunities.
This term, however, Saka has started with so much fire in his belly that he has made it difficult for Mikel Arteta to consider leaving him out of the team. As a result, Madueke could continue to struggle for consistent playing time.
Juventus identify Madueke target
The attacker could begin to consider his future, while Arsenal may be open to allowing him to leave. Juventus have already decided that they want to add him to their squad and could offer him an opportunity for more regular football.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus will make a loan approach for Madueke’s signature at the end of 2026. The Bianconeri are looking to address gaps in their squad, and they believe the Arsenal attacker could become one of their most important players if he joins.
A loan move would give Madueke the chance to play more regularly while allowing Juventus to strengthen their attacking options. However, he would still face competition for minutes after arriving in Turin.

Madueke could face competition
Francisco Conceição is currently in strong form, meaning Madueke would have to compete with the Portuguese attacker for opportunities if he moves to Juventus.
For Madueke, the situation at Arsenal could make a temporary move worth considering if his lack of playing time continues. Juventus, meanwhile, see the attacker as someone who could address some of their squad needs.
The coming months should therefore provide a clearer picture of Madueke’s future. Arsenal must decide whether to retain him despite his limited opportunities, while Juventus could push ahead with their loan approach when the transfer window opens.
