The Texas football program recently picked up a huge win at home over the Ohio State Buckeyes. The win avenged the Longhorns’ loss to Ohio State last year and seemingly got the team’s hardest game of the year out of the way in Week 2.

Now, Atlanta Falcons running back and former Texas star Bijan Robinson has weighed in on what he thinks went wrong for the Buckeyes in this one.
“I didn’t say anything after the game, I had to go to sleep and get ready for my game. But it was awesome, man. I was riled up. I was texting my teammates who went to Ohio State. I was making sure that they understood that they lost because of all of that smack talk during the week,” he said, per DJ Siddiqi of Covers.

Robinson also spoke on what he thinks the win will mean for Texas moving forward.
“It was one of those things that it’s a huge momentum shift for our team. Obviously, we have a long season, and they just need to understand every team is going to try to come and try to beat them. But we got to stay focused and take them one game at a time,” he said.
Robinson established himself as a superstar player at Texas during his college career before being drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons three years ago, and has wasted no time in becoming arguably the best running back in the NFL today.
Meanwhile, Texas fans are hoping this is the year that Steve Sarkisian and company finally put it all together and win the school its first national championship since 2005.
