Jim Harbaugh accomplished an unwanted feat after Chargers lost to Raiders

For the second week in a row, the Los Angeles Chargers have lost 26-14. In Week 1 of the NFL, the Chargers suffered a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, which was one of the bigger upsets in the league. And the upset bug stayed in the Chargers’ system on Sunday.

Harbaugh is 0-2 for the first time in his career

He’s coached at both Stanford and Michigan, while coaching both the San Francisco 49ers and now the Chargers. Harbaugh began coaching Stanford back in 2007 before he went to the NFL, and it’s the first time he’s ever suffered an 0-2 start to his career.
Harbaugh had back-to-back losing seasons to start his tenure at Stanford, but even in 2007 and 2008, he was able to get a win in the first two weeks of the season.
In two games, Harbaugh’s star QB Justin Herbert has thrown three interceptions and the offense is a wreck. Harbaugh hired former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as his new offensive coordinator, but it hasn’t led to success in the early going.
Beyond Herbert, the Chargers have had a hard time running the football. Against the Cardinals, Los Angeles ran for 81 yards as a team, and against the Raiders, it was a little better, but the Chargers had 127 yards as a team. On top of the low output, the Chargers fumbled the ball six total times on Sunday, losing it once.
Harbaugh has plenty of time to turn the ship around, but a 0-2 start isn’t ideal, and the Chargers currently look like the bottom feeder in the AFC West.
