Caitlin Clark continues making history for the Indiana Fever.

In a game that Indiana had to have on Tuesday night, Clark dropped 27 points, nine assists and seven rebounds as the Fever blew out the Minnesota Lynx at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The 96-77 win over the top-seeded Lynx has brought clarity to the Fever ahead of Thursday's regular-season finale, also against Minnesota. Indiana is likely to secure the No.5 seed in the playoffs, which would produce a rematch of last season's first-round series against the Atlanta Dream.

But the Fever's 19-point win Tuesday saw Clark etch her name once more in the WNBA history books.

Clark became the first player in league history to average 30 points and 10 assists over any five-game span. This run began before on Aug. 23, before Clark went to Germany with the US national team and won the FIBA Women's World Cup.

Clark in July turned a corner after an inconsistent start to the 2026 season. At 22.8 points per game, the superstar guard ranks behind only A'ja Wilson and teammate Kelsey Mitchell on the WNBA's scoring chart. And Alyssa Thomas is the only player to record more assists than Clark, whose 8.5 dimes per game average is tied for the league lead.

Making more out of her 32.6 percent usage rate has led to Clark becoming a more efficient and more productive player. It's exactly what the Fever wants to see going into the postseason.
