Two weeks into the season, the New England Patriots are still searching for answers on offense. What was supposed to be an explosive start coming off an appearance in the Super Bowl has instead become an early-season struggle to find consistency.

While the Patriots blew out the Pittsburgh Steelers, 20-3, on Sunday, the offense still left much to be desired, as it looked out of sync for long stretches.
After their practice on Wednesday, Drake Maye was confident that they would find their footing soon and get right back on track.

“(We have to) realize we’re not far from it. Other than that, I think just keep pushing the guys in the huddle, pushing guys to keep going, and strain a little bit. Once we make a big play, we follow it up. I think that’s one thing we’re focused on,” said Maye, as quoted by the Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan.
The third-year quarterback went 14-of-22 for 208 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception against the Steelers. He was sacked three times.
Maye went 23-of-33 for 178 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in their loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1. He was sacked three times.
After their win over Pittsburgh, Maye stressed that they cannot celebrate too much since they have to shift their mindset to the next assignment.
“It is nothing to hang your hat on. It is early on, but at the same time, we have got to have some urgency and a little fire under us,” said last season’s MVP runner-up in a report from the Associated Press’ Kyle Hightower.
The Patriots will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
