The New York Jets are dealing with multiple injuries to key players as Aaron Glenn revealed the latest updates ahead of their Week 3 matchup.

Glenn started the second season of his head coaching career with the Jets. Having gone through a brutal campaign in 2025, Glenn anticipates better results in Year 2.
New York is off to a decent start, going 1-1 in its first two games. However, injuries have surfaced as they will miss some for Week 3. Glenn listed the names who will be unavailable while noting others who will be active.

“Mason Taylor, he’ll be out. Kiko will be out. Minkah be out. Kene, he’s doubtful. Osa, full practice. Bailey, full practice. The only addition that we have is Adonai Mitchell, and he’ll be limited; he has a finger injury. Other than that, we’re all good,” Glenn said.

What lies ahead for Aaron Glenn, Jets
Aaron Glenn knows he has a lot on his plate as an up-and-coming head coach in the NFL. Bringing the Jets back to relevance will be no easy task, but it’s one that Glenn has embraced as his primary objective.
Having gone 3-14 in 2025, New York is off to a decent 1-1 start to the 2026 campaign. They beat the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 then put the Green Bay Packers to the test before falling in overtime. The Jets sit at third place in the AFC East Division standings, being above the Miami Dolphins while trailing the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.
Geno Smith has been the starting quarterback, throwing for 462 yards and a touchdown. Breece Hall leads the run game with 38 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown. Garrett Wilson mans the receiving corps with 11 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown.
The Jets will look forward to their upcoming matchup, being on the road. They take on the Detroit Lions in Week 3 as kickoff commences on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET.
