The Detroit Lions and New York Jets went at it on Sunday at Ford Field, and it wasn't just a normal Week 3 NFL game. This matchup had meaning to it because it featured former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn coaching the Jets against his former team.
Dan Campbell and the Lions didn't get an easy win over Glenn. Frankly, Glenn is familiar with the Lions' defensive scheme, so it makes sense that this would be a challenging game for Detroit, even though they were favored to win and it was on home turf.
The Lions ended up bringing home the win, 31-24, but it was tied going into the fourth quarter. After the game, Campbell made an emotional gesture to Glenn that was caught on camera.

Following the game, cameras caught Campbell walking up to Glenn and giving him a big, warm hug.
"Long postgame hug between Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn," the Detroit Times' X account noted.
Campbell's gesture is in line with what he said about Glenn before the game.
"One of the greatest days of my life was him getting the [New York Jets] job, and one of the worst days of my life was him getting that job because you know you're losing a little piece of you," Campbell said Friday, according to ESPN. "That's what he meant to me and to us. So, that's hard."
Campbell added that it "helps when you have somebody that you have a tremendous amount of trust for. You've been through a lot with them as a player and as a coach, you know what they're made of, and he's really - he looks different than me. I'm taller, I'm whatever. He's quicker."
Campbell continued, "All these different things, man, but we're really the same. I mean we're so much the same. And he's the defensive version, I'm the offensive version. And so, he was my right-hand man."
So, there are definitely no hard feelings between Campbell and Glenn, at least none that the world can see.
