A critical game between Oregon and USC was flipped upside down when Ducks QB Dante Moore was carted off with a head injury following a massive hit from USC's Desman Stephens II.

The hit, which appeared to leave Moore limp on the turf, sparked a near-melee between USC and Oregon as the quarterback's Ducks teammates rushed to his defense.

While targeting wasn't immediately called, Stephens was ejected upon review as Moore spent several minutes receiving treatment on the field.

Dante Moore injury update

Moore suffered a head injury on a devastating hit from Stephens' shoulder while sliding at the end of a run.

Moore was treated on the field for several minutes before being carted off the field with a brace around his neck. An ambulance could be seen waiting for Moore near the corner of the end zone.

Fortunately, NBC cameras captured Moore moving his arms, fingers and feet as he was being taken off the field.

Former Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola entered the game in place of Moore.
