For the Third Straight Week, Former Buckeyes Dominate the NFL
· Yahoo Sports
It's getting to be like clockwork for the former Ohio State Buckeyes in the NFL. For the third straight week, one of the legitimate main storylines in the NFL was just how good all of the former Buckeyes were for their respective NFL teams.
This week, it wasn't just the wide receivers making it happen. Sonny Styles and Arvell Reese both announced themselves as future stars by having monster games.

While there were others this week, the storyline begins at the wide receiver position.
Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is actually unguardable. In a loss to the Washington Commanders, he finished with 128 yards on 10 catches and a sweet touchdown pass from Sam Darnold. So far this year, he is the league leader in touchdowns with six and yards with 405. He is tied for the league lead in catches with 27.
The guy that JSN is tied with at the top is his former teammate Chris Olave. Olave and his quarterback Tyler Shough have found something special in their chemistry. Olave had 107 yards on nine catches in the Saints' loss to the Raiders. He is tied with JSN in catches and just one spot behind him in yards, with 375.

Yes, that is correct, former Buckeyes own three of the top 10 wide receiver spots in the league.
Terry McLaurin was no slouch in the upset win over the Seahawks, going for 77 yards on six catches for one score. Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, and Marvin Harrison Jr. also had decent games for their teams.
On defense, the youngsters made it happen on Sunday. Sonny Styles was incredible for the Commanders and had his first really great game in the NFL. He finished the day with four tackles, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, one interception, and one quarterback hit. He has quickly become the leader of that defense and is making an immediate impact.
His former running mate Arvell Reese had his welcome-to-the-NFL game against the Titans. How does 12 tackles, nine solos, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup sound? Sounds pretty good to me, and he absolutely looks the part on an NFL field as an off-ball linebacker.
It was a good weekend at the NFL level for the former Buckeyes. It is becoming very evident that Ohio State is an NFL player-producing factory. It's been that way for years, but this is the best that it has ever been.
