Oregon football reveals new uniforms ahead of UCLA game. See the look

Teased soon after Oregon football's 41-27 win over USC, the Ducks released new uniforms Sept. 29 ahead of their top-25 matchup against UCLA.

Themed the "Origin of Speed," the latest set of uniforms will be the last of Oregon's "Generation O" series, which debuted in 2024. The new uniforms are an incredibly dark shade of green dubbed "Night Forest," while the numerals debut a bright green Nike calls "Green Strike." The color is inspired by the seating within Oregon's track and field stadium, Hayward Field.

"It stands out and it's flashy," safety Aaron Flowers, who helped design the uniform, said. "That's what really caught my attention growing up, back in the 2000s watching Oregon. So it just felt like we had to bring that back again."

Nike graphic designer Jason Cochran oversaw the design along with several current players including Flowers and receiver Jeremiah McClellan.

The helmet features unconventional wings on the side as well, named the "kinetic wing," which also is displayed on a side panel of the uniform's pants and shoulders.
