The Baltimore Ravens are currently gearing up for their upcoming matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This game will mark a chance for Ravens star running back Derrick Henry to face off against his former Titans team, with whom he burst onto the scene as a superstar in the 2010s.
Recently, Henry spoke on his anticipation for the matchup against his old squad.
“It’s going to be a crazy moment to be playing against the team that I came in the league playing for,” Henry said, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “But I ain’t trying to make too much of it, though.”

He also had nothing but good things to say about his former organization.
“It’s still like family there,” Henry said. “So it’s always love, but it ain’t going to be much love on Sunday, though.”
Henry has remarkably remained an elite running back at the NFL level well into his 30s, erasing nearly every historical precedent for the position and becoming a huge part of the Ravens’ offensive attack over the last few seasons.
He’s gotten off to another strong start to the current season, finding the end zone on multiple occasions and helping Baltimore earn a win over the Dallas Cowboys this past weekend in Brazil.
The Ravens were very close to being 3-0, but the team’s unwillingness to get Henry the ball down the stretch of their Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints ultimately ended up costing them.
In any case, the Ravens and Titans are slated to kick things off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET from Baltimore.
