Brazil face India for the first time at senior international level, with Kolkata hosting the meeting.
Ancelotti has opted for a blend of established stars and emerging talent as he continues to assess his squad.
Vinicius leads Brazil attack against India
Vinicius is one of the biggest names in Ancelotti’s starting XI and will be looking to use the match as an opportunity to rediscover his scoring touch.
The Real Madrid forward has endured a difficult start to the season by his usual standards, scoring only once in eight appearances for his club.
He has also featured in Brazil’s two friendlies during this international break against Australia, scoring once.
Ancelotti will hope another international appearance can provide Vinicius with the confidence needed to return to his best level for Real Madrid.
Endrick starts on Brazil bench
Endrick has been named among the substitutes, meaning the Real Madrid youngster will have to wait for his opportunity against India.
The 20-year-old is expected to feature at some point, particularly with Ancelotti using the fixture to give several players valuable international minutes.
Brazil’s attack also includes Estevao, Joao Pedro and Rayan, giving Ancelotti several young attacking options throughout the game.
