The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to roll along in NBA training on Sunday, Oct. 4. Only a few weeks remain until Opening Night for the 2026-27 regular season. Even with their roster changes, they're entering the year as one of the top title favorites.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams suffice as one of the top trios. They're hoping to add a second NBA championship ring in three years. As long as those three stay healthy, the Thunder will be in the thick of the title hunt.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Ajay Mitchell talked to the local media after Sunday's training camp. Daigneault talked about their annual Tulsa trip in their preseason opener. Mitchell talked about his growth on defense over the years in OKC.
