‘Worst Coach I’ve Ever Seen in My Life’ — Ex-Chargers DT Rips Jim Harbaugh After Los Angeles Falls to 0–4 Following Loss to Seahawks

Calling the Los Angeles Chargers one of the most disappointing teams this season may be an understatement.

This team was 0-3 going into their Week 4 matchup against the Super Bowl-defending Seattle Seahawks, and the odds of Los Angeles winning were low. But what made it worse was the decision-making and scoring for most of the game.

Breiden Fehoko Criticizes Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh After Going 0–4

Going into the fourth quarter of their Week 4 game, the Chargers were down 30-13, and it was ugly. The offense was really struggling in the red zone; Justin Herbert continued to struggle, and the run game was all over the place.

The Chargers are 29th in PFN’s Offensive Impact Metric in 2026, and this game reaffirmed that ranking. Los Angeles cut the deficit to a touchdown, but it was too little, too late.

After this performance and all the other results from this season, Harbaugh and this team got major criticism, including from former Chargers DT Breiden Fehoko.

In a posted video with the caption, “Fire Hortiz. Fire McDaniel. Fire Harbaugh. Trade Mack. Trade Derwin. Trade Hampton. This season is over. I told you 3 years ago,” Fehoko called Harbaugh the worst coach he has ever seen in his life:

“I’ve been telling you guys for three years now about this organization and the malpractice they do,” Fehoko said. “Joe Ortiz, you are a (expletive). You cannot run an organization. You were never even an assistant GM. You should have never been handed the title. Jim Harbaugh, you’re the worst coach I’ve ever seen in my life.”

“I told you guys about Mike McDaniel. He loves to play politics,” Fehoko continued. “Little birdies down with the Miami Dolphins told me about Mike McDaniel and how happy they were when they fired. Now you’re seeing it firsthand. He doesn’t like the first-round pick (Omarion Hampton).

“He wants to subsequently get Keaton Mitchell his bag. And this is the type of coaches you’re dealing with. All your O-Line is hurt. Justin Herbert looks like (expletive) right now… 0-4 tank for Jeremiah Smith. This team is bad.”

In the video, Fehoko went after Chargers GM Joe Hortiz, OC Mike McDaniel, and, as I mentioned before, Harbaugh. Although Fehoko’s criticisms were harsh at times, the underlying point is correct. This team has been far from good enough.

Many believe the Chargers could make a playoff run since Herbert became the solidified starter. They were always a few pieces away or a coach away, but this season has shown that was all false hope. The team-building, especially on the offensive line, has been shocking, to say the least, and the clock is ticking on many people’s jobs.

Starting 0-4 this season was far from what anyone expected from this Chargers team, but maybe it’s what needed to happen. Even with Herbert’s struggles, Los Angeles will not move on from him, so with major changes ahead, Hortiz and Harbaugh are clear choices.

This franchise needs to be cleared out, and fresh staff must be brought in. Herbert was being thrown to the wolves in this game and down so much; there was no reason to risk his health, but Harbaugh did just that.
