It was the night of the Robinsons in New Orleans as both Bijan and Brian dominated on the ground in the Atlanta Falcons’ matchup against the Saints on Monday night.

Going into the game, Atlanta had a 1-2 record. They lost the first two games of the season before bouncing back with a solid win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.

Bijan and Brian are responsible for the run game in Atlanta’s offense, seeing the former shine as one of the best running backs in entire league. Brian provides him some rest during drives, getting chances to score touchdowns of his own.

Fortunately for both players, they flourished with many scoring chances throughout the primetime matchup. Bijan racked up 19 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while Brian recorded 14 rushes for 62 yards and a hat trick of three touchdowns.

How Bijan Robinson, Falcons played against Saints

Bijan Robinson, Brian Robinson Jr. and the Falcons outmatched the Saints in many ways, securing a convincing 45-24 win on the road.

Atlanta did most of its damage in the first half. They overwhelmed New Orleans on the ground, seeing Bijan and Brian score all three touchdowns in that stretch. They added more crucial blows in the second half even with New Orleans getting 17 points in the last 30 minutes of regulation, making the deficit hard to come back from.

Michael Penix Jr. had a comfortable night leading the offense as he is 2-0 in his starts this season. He completed 15 out of 20 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown.

Drake London led the receiving corps with five catches for 96 yards. Jahan Dotson came next with three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown, scoring in the second half. Meanwhile, Kyle Pitts Sr. caught three passes for 47 yards.

The Falcons will look forward to their next matchup, being at home. They host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5 as kickoff commences on Oct. 11 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
