Kentucky's Ousmane N'Diaye gets eligibility ruling
· Yahoo Sports
With the 2026-27 Kentucky basketball season just about a month away, there are a lot of questions about their roster. Multiple players are dealing with injuries, and there's still an empty roster sport that hasn't been filled. However, on question was answered on Wednesday concerning forward Ousmane N'Diaye.
Per Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio, the NCAA has officially ruled that N'Diaye is eligible for this season. He will be listed as a junior, and thus has two seasons of NCAA eligibility, if he chooses to use them both.

The ruling is, obviously, terrific news for him, Mark Pope, and the Wildcats. He is an athletic 7'0", 220 lb forward out of Senegal. He is a terrific shooter from all over the court, and performed well in the three-point contest at Big Blue Madness. He also participated in the slam dunk contest.
N'Diaye figures to be a big part of this year's squad. He has international experience, and has been viewed as a legitimate NBA prospect. If he hits his ceiling, he could be a major factor in how far this year's team can go.
