Johnson didn't clarify whether that unit will be on the court when the Spurs tip off the regular season against Oklahoma City on Oct. 20 at the Frost Bank Center.
Asked if fans should read into that lineup as it pertains to the regular season, Johnson said: "I can answer that. They're still going to read into whatever they want to read into."
Whether the three guards would play together has been the hot topic since media day on Sept. 28. Fox and Castle started last season while Harper came off the bench, but Harper's outstanding play in the NBA Finals led to the Spurs exploring the three-guard look they will trot out against the Hawks.
