Social media reactions to Florida's massive upset on the road at Texas
· Yahoo Sports
Just when Florida football looked like it was floundering, the Gators came through with a massive road win against the Texas Longhorns, holding on for a 27-24 victory in Week 7.

Playing without their starting quarterback from the first six games of the season, Jon Sumrall and Co. got a superb performance from backup Tramell Jones Jr., who used his arm and legs to lead his team to triumph. Florida also got a surprisingly robust performance from the defense, which had looked completely defeated in the previous two losses.
Following the conclusion of Florida's Week 7 upset, the Gator Nation took to social media to share its collective elation over the Gators' biggest win of the 2026 campaign. Take a look below at some of the top posts cheering on the upset.

Man, if you’d told me before the season that Florida would be 5-2 through seven games, there’s no chance I would’ve guessed who we beat and who we lost too.

I would’ve been pretty happy though. Go gators 🐊
Florida showed a ton of heart. Defensive line and Trammell Jones confidence was the difference. What a win for the Gators.
