An additional holding area will also be arranged in the parking area at Ajni station. Both holding areas will be equipped with lighting, fans, mobile toilets and seating facilities for the convenience of passengers.
To facilitate crowd management, car parking facilities at both Nagpur and Ajni stations will remain completely closed during this period. Passengers are requested to plan their travel accordingly and make alternative arrangements for reaching the stations.
Additional Ticketing Facilities and Passenger Assistance Centre at Deekshabhoomi
To facilitate ticket purchases and reduce congestion at booking counters, five additional Mobile Unreserved Ticketing System (MUTS) facilities will be provided at Nagpur station. MUTS facilities will also be made available in the holding areas at Nagpur and Ajni stations. Additional ticket-checking staff will be deployed to assist passengers and regulate movement.
In addition, a dedicated Passenger Assistance Centre has been established at the Deekshabhoomi premises for the convenience of devotees. The timetable of special trains will also be prominently displayed at the centre to help devotees plan their journeys conveniently.
Suspension of sale of platform tickets for a temporary period
To prevent overcrowding and ensure smooth passenger movement, the sale of platform tickets at Nagpur and Ajni stations will remain suspended from October 19 to 22, 2026.
Passenger Assistance and Medical Facilities
‘May I Help You’ booths will be set up on both sides of Nagpur station and at Ajni station to guide passengers and provide necessary information. Emergency medical facilities and ambulance vans will be available at both stations to deal with any medical emergencies.
Adequate supplies of safe drinking water will be ensured at the stations, along with additional arrangements for chilled drinking water, to provide relief and comfort to passengers during the event.
Enhanced Cleanliness, Security and Surveillance
As part of the Special Campaign-6 for Disposal of Pending Matters(SCDPM-6), various measures have been taken to create public awareness to maintain cleanliness.
Additional cleaning staff will be deployed to maintain cleanliness at the stations and holding areas. Extra Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel will be deployed to manage crowds and ensure passenger safety.
