Justin Jefferson, Lamar Jackson, Brock Bowers and others worth monitoring

The Vikings had a Week 6 bye, giving Jefferson additional recovery time, but his continued presence on the injury report means fantasy managers should keep monitoring his status. He returned in Week 5 after missing Week 4 and caught six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Lamar Jackson also returned to practice Wednesday as he works his way back from an ankle injury. The Ravens quarterback has missed the previous two games, and his return would be a major boost for both his fantasy value and the Baltimore offense. However, he remains far from a lock to play Sunday against Cincinnati.
Brock Bowers was another major name to appear on the injury report. The Raiders tight end was limited Wednesday with calf and hamstring injuries. Bowers has recorded at least 70 receiving yards in each of his first four games this season, making his availability particularly important for fantasy managers.
Breece Hall missed Wednesday’s practice with a quadriceps injury but is not ruled out. Quinshon Judkins, meanwhile, was limited as he continues working through an ankle issue, while Jeremiyah Love remained sidelined with his ankle injury. David Montgomery also missed practice with a groin injury.

Rashee Rice, Mike Evans and Packers stars create more uncertainty

Emeka Egbuka also missed practice with a concussion and foot injury and will need to follow the concussion protocol before returning to action.
Mike Evans was another notable absence Wednesday, creating additional concern for fantasy managers heading into the weekend. Tyler Warren also remained sidelined as he works through his groin injury after missing Week 6. Both situations will need monitoring as the week progresses.
Green Bay has several fantasy-relevant players appearing on its injury report. Jordan Love was limited with a back issue, Christian Watson with an ankle injury, and Matthew Golden with a shoulder problem. The Packers’ Wednesday report was considered an estimate because the team held a lighter workout, but all three were listed as limited.
Josh Jacobs is an especially interesting situation. He was not listed on Green Bay’s Wednesday injury report after becoming eligible to return from the Commissioner’s Exempt List. However, Matt LaFleur previously said Jacobs’ Week 7 status would be determined throughout the week because he has not played football since the start of the season.
For fantasy managers, Thursday’s and Friday’s practice reports will be critical. Several of these players remain candidates to play, but their practice participation and eventual game designations could dramatically change Week 7 lineup decisions. With so many high-end players carrying injuries, checking the final reports before kickoff will be essential.
