Taking a look at the Steelers' Week 7 injury report, starting edge rusher Alex Highsmith was listed as a limited participant during Wednesday's practice with a groin issue. Although there's reason for concern with Highsmith's history of groin injuries, his limited participation was better than not being at practice at all.

Highsmith, who was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has quietly emerged as one of the league's most underrated edge rushers, recording 48 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 348 combined tackles, and 69 tackles for loss in 96 games.

We're uncertain when exactly Highsmith suffered the setback, and the severity of the injury is unknown, but the Steelers have plenty of capable edge rushers in Nick Herbig and Jack Sawyer ready to step up to the plate if their number is called upon.
