Barcelona have been one of the best attacking teams in Europe under Hansi Flick and have taken their goalscoring numbers to a whole new level this season.
Despite losing both Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski back in the summer, the team has shown absolutely no problem in scoring goals.
Raphinha is already performing at a very high level as a number nine, but Barça continue to monitor a marquee striker like Erling Haaland.
Now, speaking during MARCA‘s special Los 100 de MARCA by Orange programme, journalist Matteo Moretto suggested that the Norway international sees Spain as a potential next destination.
Haaland dreams of playing in La Liga
While Moretto did not exactly mention whether Haaland wants a move to Barça or Real Madrid, the interest seems apparent.
“I think his next step will be La Liga,” Moretto explained while discussing the striker’s future.

The journalist added that Haaland’s desire to experience Spanish football could eventually influence his career decisions.
“We still need to see which team, but he would really like to play in La Liga. Haaland has that dream.”
Moretto then offered a confident prediction about the Manchester City forward’s long-term future.
“From what I hear, sooner or later he’ll end up in Spain.”
While his comments do not necessarily suggest that a transfer is imminent, Man City’s legal proceedings could catalyse a transfer.
Could Barcelona become Haaland’s next destination?
For Barcelona, Haaland represents the kind of elite centre-forward capable of transforming an already talented attacking unit.
His movement inside the penalty area, physical strength and exceptional finishing would offer a different dimension to the team’s attack.

Playing alongside creative talents such as Lamine Yamal and Pedri could make him an especially dangerous prospect.
There is also a clear tactical appeal. Barcelona frequently dominate possession and create opportunities through combinations around the opposition box.
If the team can provide balls to the Norwegian on a platter, Haaland is capable of finding the back of the net more often than not.
However, the financial challenge would be enormous. His long-term Manchester City contract, potential transfer fee and salary would make this a massive commitment for Barça.
Barcelona would also face competition from Real Madrid if Haaland eventually decided to move to Spain.
The Norwegian’s future will be very interesting to keep an eye on, and it remains to be seen how things play out.
