Collins, 31, was in the final year of a two-year deal he had originally signed with the Browns in 2025. He's currently second on the team in sacks with 3.5, all of those in the last three games.

The veteran defensive tackle was in the midst of a career year in 2025 when he suffered a season-ending quad injury in Week 13 against his former team, the San Francisco 49ers. He had a career-high 6.5 sacks at the time.

This season, Collins spent the offseason and training camp continuing to rehab. He was finally cleared to return to practice the final week of August.

Collins has 18 total pressures this season, according to Pro Football Focus. He had 28 a year ago before the injury.

The Browns (4-2) play at the Tennessee Titans (1-5) on Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.
