Seahawks injury update: Rashid Shaheed, Velus Jones Jr ruled out
· Yahoo Sports
The Seattle Seahawks will be down a couple of players for the remainder of their Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed was ruled out with a knee injury after colliding with Jaxon Smith-Njigba on a Sam Darnold interception just before halftime. Shaheed was not out there for the start of the second half and otherwise had his special teams return duties assumed by Tory Horton.

Meanwhile, a thin running back room got even thinner when Velus Jones Jr left in the second half with a hamstring injury. He’s now out for the game, which leaves the Seahawks with only George Holani and Emanuel Wilson as the available backs for the rest of the evening.

The Seahawks enter the fourth quarter with a 13-3 lead over the Chiefs, and if they are to pull off a critical win, they’ll have to do it with an undermanned offense.
