Blake Corum says Rams aren't worried about their playoff chances

The Los Angeles Rams aren't focused on their 3-4 record or their playoff chances as they look to build momentum following their Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Running back Blake Corum said the message inside the locker room has been to focus on getting better each day rather than looking too far ahead.
“No one's worried about our record. No one's worried about, oh, you know, are we going to make the playoffs?” Corum said on The Rich Eisen Show. “It's more so like we know what we have to do. Let's work and let's go do it and let's do it to our best ability.”

The Rams improved to 3-4 with a 35-21 victory over the Raiders on Sunday, snapping a two-game losing streak. Los Angeles had dropped consecutive games to the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals before bouncing back in Las Vegas.
Corum said the team isn't letting outside criticism dictate its outlook as it tries to turn its season around.
“Our story isn't over,” Corum said. “People might think it may be, but we're not worried about what people say. You know, we're focused on, you know, what goes on in this facility and what we're capable of doing.”
The Rams have plenty of opportunities to improve their standing, beginning with a Week 8 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. They will then face the Washington Commanders and Arizona Cardinals before their Week 11 bye.
Corum said the team understands there's still time to make progress, with the focus remaining on what it can control.
“There's still a lot of time left,” Corum said. “And so, like, how much better can we get each and every day?”
