· Yahoo Sports

Last night, the Kentucky Wildcats wrapped up their preseason slate with an overtime win over UCF.

The Cats started strong, but UCF hung around and took the lead late in the second half. Alex Wilkins hit a runner in the final seconds of regulation to send the game to overtime tied at 71. The Cats handled UCF during the overtime period, outscoring them 19-5 to come away with a 90-76 win.

The Wildcats will officially open the season this coming Tuesday, November 3, hosting Manhattan with a matchup against James Madison the following Friday.
