Picking Week 9 of college football in the Big Ten

· Yahoo Sports

Week 9 of the college football season is officially here! And in the Big Ten, that means another loaded slate of conference games, with UCLA the lone school facing a nonconference opponent.

So what can we expect to see in the league this week? Here are my Big Ten picks for Week 9:

Visit freshyourfeel.com for more information.

Iowa over Wisconsin

USC’s loss in Madison last week looks even worse after this one.

Illinois over Maryland

The Terrapins remain winless in Big Ten play.

Michigan over Rutgers

The Wolverines do not have a quarterback, but they probably do not need one to beat Rutgers.

Indiana over Minnesota

The Hoosiers also have quarterback issues, but they are simply the better team in this game.

Oregon over Northwestern

I am picking Oregon to win, but do not count out the Wildcats.

UCLA over Nevada

8-0 UCLA was not something that I had on my preseason bingo card.

Penn State over Purdue

The Nittany Lions finally get their first conference win.

Ohio State over USC

The Trojans have not beaten a top five opponent in ten years. That drought continues.

Nebraska over Washington

Nebraska seems to lose every big game that it plays in. Fortunately for the Huskers, however, Washington is not good enough for this to be considered a “big game”.
