The 22-year-old center had double-doubles against the 76ers and Pacers, and against the Rockets last Wednesday, Ware had six points and eight rebounds in 17 minutes.
“Kel at the five has actually progressed to being something good for us, both offensively and defensively, and there’s still even more room for growth there,” head coach Taylor Jenkins said of Ware. “His ability to roll (and) stretch the floor, he’ll continue to get more comfortable in our system… So, we’re still uncovering a lot with him individually, and I think it’s a combination of both what he can do offensively and defensively at the five.”

Five games in, and the Milwaukee Bucks sit third in the NBA in rebounds per game (49.8) behind the Memphis Grizzlies (50.6) and Minnesota Timberwolves (51.6).
“It’s always being ready, if everybody crashes, soon it’ll have to go our way – or at least somebody get a hand on it, and then you never know, the next person may be able to grab it,” Kel’el Ware told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel before the Rockets game. “It’s all about effort. And being ready to get it.”
