The New England Patriots officially headed to Hard Rock Stadium without three.

The organization downgraded wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson as well as offensive tackle Marcus Bryant to out on the eve of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

Brown, 29, missed back-to-back practices to end AFC East prep after beginning the week as a limited participant. The three-time All-Pro is dealing with a knee issue while also working back from the high ankle sprain that sent him to injured reserve in September. Brown has played 101 out of 122 offensive snaps since being activated while catching six passes for 75 yards. With the June trade acquisition now set to miss his fifth start of the season, New England’s 53-man roster includes three healthy wide receivers in DeMario Douglas, Efton Chism III and Kyle Williams.

Henderson, 24, also stayed sidelined for consecutive sessions in Foxborough before being ruled questionable because of an illness on Friday afternoon. The No. 38 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft has totaled 203 rushing yards, 45 receiving yards and one touchdown through 57 touches this fall. In his absence, the running back room features starter Rhamondre Stevenson and August pickup Corey Kiner on the active roster as well as Lan Larison on the practice squad.

Bryant, 24, will remain on New England’s injured reserve for Sunday after having his 21-day practice window open midway through October. Due to a preseason ankle injury, the sophomore swing tackle had been designated to return at the league’s cutdown deadline in August. He recently upgraded from limited to full participation and did not carry a game designation. The No. 220 overall pick from last year’s draft class appeared in 12 games as a Patriots rookie, seeing 19 snaps on offense and 56 snaps on special teams.

The downgrades leave linebacker Christian Elliss and cornerback Carlton Davis III as the lone questionable game statuses from the final injury report of the week.

Sunday’s kickoff in Miami Gardens is set for 4:25 p.m. ET.
