Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 9: TE Edition
· Yahoo Sports
If you need TE production and don't have a consensus top-12 Week 9 fantasy tight end, here are three highly unconventional, high-upside bargains. Also, if you're planning to start one of those previously referenced top-12 fantasy TEs, these three are riskier than usual.

I've hit 12 of my last 18 highly unconventional picks and want to keep it going with some world-class tight ends.
As always, we'll use FantasyPros' Week 9 composite rankings as our guide.
Start - Brevyn Spann-Ford, Dallas Cowboys (Ranked 36th)
Is Brevyn Spann-Ford a better fantasy bet than teammate Jake Ferguson for the rest of the season? It's hard to argue with what we've all seen over the past few weeks. A healthy Spann-Ford is as good a dart throw as any non-top-16 TE.
Start - Eli Raridon, New England Patriots(Ranked 25th)
Rookie Eli Raridon is high-risk, but has decent TD upside. Hunter Henry exited early last week, so we don't know whether he'll be 100% in Week 9. Still, Drake Maye has looked Raridon's way 16 times in the past four weeks. If you don't have a nearly automatic top-12 TE, Raridon is worth a shot.
Start - Greg Dulcich, Miami Dolphins (Ranked 17th)
Although Greg Dulcich isn't a great bet to score in Miami's bottom-tier offense, he's become a consistently favored target for Malik Willis. Combine that with a matchup against the high-powered Lions, and it's easy to envision Dulcich cracking double digits.
Sit - Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs (Ranked 11th)
As always, recommending sitting a top-12 TE is a tough business. But I'll embrace it once again. I've tagged Travis Kelce as overvalued over the past two weeks. With Rashee Rice back in full swing, Kelce probably will need to score to get 10+ points. Look elsewhere for higher ceilings.
Sit - Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers (Ranked 10th)
In my 14-team fantasy league, I traded for Tucker Kraft in September and have been pretty happy with his output since then. But this week I'm benching him in favor of T.J. Hockenson. Kraft faces a Patriots defense that allows only 6.5 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. As with Kelce, he probably needs to score to be a must-start option, and I believe that will be tough on New England's home turf, where the Patriots have thrived.
Sit - Harold Fannin, Cleveland Browns (Ranked 6th)
Harold Fannin simply crushed it last week after I declared him "hit-or-miss." Well, Fannin won that battle. But he was also the offensive focal point on a team that's had many focal points, including (from week to week) K.C. Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Jerry Jeudy, and Quinshon Judkins. Experts are ranking him highly partly because of what he just did, not based on the context of who flopped because of it.
