From Anfield To Al-Hilal?According to journalist Ismaeel Mahmoud, the Dutch international has been offered to Saudi Pro Leagueoutfit Al-Hilal and would reportedly be receptive to making the switch.
The claims, subsequently reported by Winwin, have raised questions over Frimpong's long-term future, although there has been no official confirmation of negotiations between the two clubs.
Frimpong arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 for approximately £29.5 million, with Liverpool identifying the attacking full-back as a replacement for TrentAlexander-Arnoldfollowing his departure toReal Madrid.
However, the 25-year-old has endured a frustrating spell on Merseyside, with injuries and inconsistent opportunities preventing him from establishing himself as an undisputed starter.

According to FBref, his statistics across the Premier League and Champions League currently stand at five Premier League appearances with no goals or assists, two Champions League appearances 1 goals and 2 assists.
The defender has accumulated just 201 Premier League minutes this season, starting twice, while his European contributions demonstrate the attacking threat he can offer when fit.
His latest hamstring injury, sustained in October, has further disrupted his progress under Andoni Iraola, leaving Liverpool without one of their most explosive wide options.

During his final Bundesliga campaign with Leverkusen, the Netherlands international registered five goals and five assists in 33 league appearances, highlighting the attacking qualities that initially attracted Liverpool.
With Frimpong contracted until June 2030, Liverpool would be under no immediate pressure to sanction a departure.
Nevertheless, Saudi clubs possess considerable financial resources, and a substantial offer could force Liverpool into making an unexpected decision.
For now, the speculation remains just that. There is no confirmed transfer fee, formal bid or agreement.
But should Frimpong genuinely be considering an Anfield exit, Liverpool could find themselves facing another major decision over their right-back position sooner than anyone anticipated.
