Henry’s future became a talking point following Baltimore’s fourth consecutive defeat. The Ravens suffered a 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, dropping their record to 4-5.
Injuries to quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley have further complicated Baltimore’s situation. Those setbacks raised questions about whether the franchise should consider trading veteran players.
However, Henry previously made his intentions clear. The running back dismissed trade speculation following the Jaguars loss, emphasizing his commitment to helping Baltimore recover.
Henry has recorded 689 rushing yards and eight touchdowns through nine games this season. He continues to play a crucial role in Baltimore’s offense despite the team’s recent struggles.
By keeping Henry, the Ravens can preserve their established rushing attack while working to stabilize their quarterback situation.
As the November 10 deadline approaches, Baltimore’s reported decision gives Henry clarity about his immediate future.
Baltimore still faces significant challenges, but retaining Henry provides much-needed continuity as the team looks to turn its season around.
