Bengals QB Joe Burrow, DeAndre Hopkins connect during flag football

Now NFL free agent DeAndre Hopkins is just having fun with Cincinnati Bengals fans.

Before the weekend got rolling, Hopkins fired up fans with a Bengals-like tweet on social media. Likely related to March Madness, sure, but it was understandable that Bengals fans rolled with it for a bit.

Saturday, during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, though, Hopkins knew exactly what he was doing on social media.

Nuk posted his touchdown connection with Burrow from Saturday’s game, complete with an emoji that kept Bengals fans guessing:

Like we said last time out, the Bengals could always use a third wideout behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Hopkins will turn 34 in June, but he might have more left on offer than what Andrei Iosivas did in that role last season.

Unlikely, but Burrow’s out making connections with the likes of Odell Beckham and Hopkins right now at this event, so it’s all at least somewhat noteworthy.
