What are Titans' biggest remaining needs headed into the NFL draft?

The Tennessee Titans have made significant strides this offseason in addressing roster deficiencies and, by all accounts, should be in a better position when actual football kicks off. Now, they must attack the remainder of the offseason and the NFL draft to help fill out the roster.

The Titans still have some questions to answer, especially along the interior of the offensive line, at the edge, and at wide receiver, not to mention the need for overall depth across the roster. And the team at ESPN’s NFL Nation, specifically Turron Davenport and Matt Miller, dissect the Titans' remaining needs heading into the NFL draft.

Top three needs: Edge, WR, C. The Titans still need to incorporate an impactful edge rusher with Jeffery Simmons and John Franklin-Myers despite trading for Jermaine Johnson. New coach Robert Saleh said he views Oluwafemi Oladejo as a legitimate defensive end, but he's only in Year 2 and missed most of last season due to injury.

The WR room is mixed with young players Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike, veteran Calvin Ridley and free agent addition Wan'Dale Robinson. Tennessee could use another young playmaker for Cam Ward -- maybe running back Jeremiyah Love? Center is also a question as free agent Austin Schlottmann is set to take over despite only four starts with the Giants last season. -- Turron Davenport

Prospect to fill a need outside Round 1: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama. If the Titans don't add a receiver in Round 1, Bernard is the type of winner on crossing routes and in traffic that would immediately benefit Ward. Giving Ward easy answers on the outside, while Robinson is in the slot, would open up the offense in a hurry. -- Miller

The Titans must attack this draft and add multiple impact players and some more competition to the roster, but they won’t be able to do that with a single selection. In his first draft in 2025, general manager Mike Borgonzi did an outstanding job finding talent in every round, and he must back that up in 2026 with another solid class.

With less than a month to go before that event kicks off in Pittsburgh, there is a ton of debate on what Tennessee should do at the top of the draft, but the reality is, they could go any direction and help improve their roster, and that’s how it should be.
