The Los Angeles Lakers have two marquee matchups in the coming days. On Tuesday evening, they will host Donovan Mitchell, James Harden and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and on Thursday, they will visit the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.

They have a 49-26 record and are looking to hold on to the third spot in the Western Conference. They have been able to win 15 of their last 17 games even though veteran guard Marcus Smart, who has been a big key for them, missed their last four games.
Smart was ruled out for Tuesday's game, while LeBron James was listed as questionable due to a foot ailment and was considered a game-time decision.
