The No. 4 Bulldogs (44-12) and No. 17 Gators (39-18) play at 1 p.m. ET.

The fifth-seeded Gators beat Vanderbilt 8-3 and Alabama 13-3 to set up the matchup with the top-seeded Bulldogs.

Georgia lost two of three to Florida April 10-12 in Athens.

"They're playing with a ton of confidence," Florida coach Kevin O'Sullivan said. "To win the league, especially this year, I mean, is an unbelievable accomplishment. I say it every year, seems like the league gets more difficult every year. The players get better. And what they've been able to accomplish and the way they're playing with energy and they're pitching as good as they have all year long, it's certainly going to be a difficult task for us."

Florida has won 10 of its last 11 games. Georgia has won 12 of its last 13 after a 5-3 win over Mississippi State Thursday.

Georgia coach Wes Johnson said his team didn’t want a quick stay in Hoover even if it’s in great shape for a top seed in the NCAA Tournament.

“They just love to play,” he said, “so when you have guys who do that — one of the ways to help them stay focused is you play the game. And that's what these guys want to do. They wanted to come here and stay for a couple of days and play and try to get better.”
