The Denver Broncos continued mandatory minicamp with a second day of practice on Wednesday. Here are ten quick notes and takeaways following what was scheduled to be the second of three practices this week.

2. Bo Nix continues making progress
#Broncos QB Bo Nix takes another step today as he takes part in 7 on 7 drills. Threw four passes, three complete. One to RJ Harvey in left corner for TD. One apiece to Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin short over middle. Did not take part in team drills.

Nix still didn't get team reps, but he did throw in 7-on-7 after being limited to individual drills yesterday.

3. Broncos injury report: 6 players still sidelined
In addition to Jonathon Cooper, not seen practicing for #Broncos were Ben Powers, Alex Forsyth, Nick Gargiulo, Calvin Throckmorton, Jaden Robinson, Caleb Lohner.

Jonathon Cooper was excused following his second arrest. It appears that six other players are dealing with injuries.

10. Sean Payton cancels final day of practice
Sean Payton has called off the last day of minicamp, so #Broncos are done with their offseason program.

Denver was originally scheduled to have one more practice on Thursday, but players now have a summer break until training camp begins in late July. The Broncos are expected to announce their training camp schedule later this month.
